First and foremost we want to get to the younger generation (the next adult population of the country) and educate on Cancer and routine screenings to catch the cancer in its earliest stage as much as possible. We want the younger generation to understand the harmful effects of Tobacco affecting not only Cancer but other major diseases. We plan to with schools/colleges joint partnership give awareness sessions one by one to all the schools of Rajkot and then take the campaign to Rural areas of Saurashtra.
During school holidays we plan to use area local community halls in partnership with the hall managing societies both in th to hold cancer awareness sessions both in the city and Rural villages.
During all our cancer awareness sessions we will partner with local Gynecologist and Dental Association so that one of their representative is present in most of our Cancer awareness sessions both in Urban and Rural areas.
In support of our program we plan to make available public presentation materiel to any and all organizations who want to promote cancer awareness. Not only presentation material but handouts, flyers , and most important Training.
Our overall aim is to create an environment so that all the entities working in promoting cancer awareness to work together as a team helping and sharing information to spread awareness .
